Author's Notes: This drink is a riff on a St. Lawrence– a bourbon sour with a bit of maple syrup sweetness, served on-the-rocks. For a little less sweetness without losing the maple flavor, our version replaces the maple syrup with our Maple Dark Balsamic.

St. LeRoux Cocktail Print Recipe


  • 2oz Bourbon
  • ⅓ oz LeRoux Maple Dark Balsamic
  • ⅔ oz Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • ⅓ oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters


  1. Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange zest twist.
