First making traditional Scandinavian pieces like aebleskiver pans and rosette irons, the pair found success with the popularization of the Bundt pan after their pan was used in the winning recipe of a national recipe contest in 1968. 

Nordic Ware has continued to make their line of cast aluminum bakeware in Minneapolis since the beginning, and is still a family owned and operated company.
