Homemade Pizza with Monte's Fine Food

Steve Quattrucci from Monte's Fine Foods joins us in the kitchen to teach us to make their signature pizza, a Roman style flatbread called Pinsa. Pinsa is an ancient multigrain flatbread that was originally served in the taverns around ancient Rome. Learn how to make the dough and the secret to making some of the best new pizza in town.

This hands-on class will cover cake decorations for the holidays, with a heavy concentration on the Christmas classic, Bûche de Noel. Each student will decorate and take home their own Bûche de Noel, along with a decorating comb.

Sourdough Bread

In this hand-on class, students will learn how to feed and care for their very own sourdough starter, as well as the basics of making their own bread, including mixing, proofing, shaping, scoring and baking their own loaves. In addition to taking home a sourdough starter, a bench scraper and dough whisk are included.
