The enamel coated cast iron base has a matte black interior, strengthened with traces of quartz so it retains heat evenly, enabling a beautiful sear on stew beef, chicken thighs or pork chops.
The pan depth also allows us to make our favorite buttermilk fried chicken, while the substantial double handles enable easy control of the pan without getting too close to the hot oil.
