One of our favorite dishes here in the Northeast is linguine with clams, and this Staub 3.5 qt. Braiser with lid is the ideal cookware for making it.

The glass lid retains heat and moisture while allowing us to keep an eye on the clams so they don’t overcook. But this pan is more than a one dish wonder. The enamel coated cast iron base has a matte black interior, strengthened with traces of quartz so it retains heat evenly, enabling a beautiful sear on stew beef, chicken thighs or pork chops.

The pan depth also allows us to make our favorite buttermilk fried chicken, while the substantial double handles enable easy control of the pan without getting too close to the hot oil. This Staub Braiser is extremely versatile. There’s no end to what you can make in this pan; think braised short ribs, apple cobbler or chicken pot pie.

The braiser is attractive enough to go from stovetop to table, making it the perfect bouillabaisse vessel for your next intimate dinner party.
